It just one of those days
Love the 90s style of this flash game, you really pull it off the aesthetic of which reminded me of my Windows 98 game I used to play, back then.
It rather an interesting concept, I love it
Great game, very cool. Can make tom say "penis".
Okay, serious question: I been trying to run this on Firefox, and for a strange reason it won't work so I go to Chrome and I noticed that it needs to run Flash which was blocked as a default option. Just curious, are you planning to make it run in Ruffle or least Newgrounds Player? Really hate to see this piece of art go away when Flash meets its end-of-life.
While I like the unique style of being parody of FNAF, one flaw that somewhat ruin it is the fact that it using Scratch which, professionally, not the greatest way to publish the game on Newgrounds. There other good game developer app you can use such like Stencyl or Game Maker which make the game have good quality instead of having small box and long loading screen.
Needless to say, I thinks this game have some potential. I like the style and the characters and simple gameplay machinic. One thing to say is, there no limitation of how long the door/power last, making it too easy.
scratch is like all i know in terms of game creation but that doesn't mean i can't learn anything else so that's a valid critique as well as the power supply i'm hearin a few words about that so that could definitely be worked in. i'll probably get to work on that stuff soon.
Holy crap, I used to remember this game on some flash website at the time! Me and my bro play this game an hell a lot when we were young as we was just messing around, customizing every car there is. Man, time go by fast.
This Visualizer is rather interesting. Like KaosuKaiari say, Visualizer is lost art as it seem more mainstream Music streaming don't do these things anymore. The music are interesting as well, but I am curious, are they royalty free music? Music from Newgrounds?
Needless to say, this Visualizer is satisfyingly.
The music was made by myself! It's on Newgrounds as-well too...
Thanks!
Dude, this is a fricking awesome game! I love the gameplay, the music, and the challenge of it! It does have that nostalgia feels of older browser game I used to play way back then.
There is one complaint though (it small one but can be a big one):
The game is an Adobe flash game and while it not a big deal (since Newgrounds Player exist now), Flash outside of Newgrounds (if you planning to do so) will no longer be supported and will be discontinued on all browser soon, meaning Flash will no longer exist after 2020. For this amazing game, It sad to see all work put to it be gone after Flash will be dead soon.
True. We have first standalone versions of PB2 at this point, and more will be released later next year.
We also have next version of the game getting ready to become own Flash-independent thing - it will try to be almost visually identical but really a much better engine in every possible way. What I usually say is that some stuff can and probably will be reused (like vectors for characters & weaponry, some sound effects), so nothing really a waste even if we keep updating Plazma Burst 2.
Good game, but I do have a complaint. I know this is a demo but there a list it needs to improve:
The control is all click. The movement, the shooting and picking up weapons are relying on the mouse, making the game feel a little uncomfortable to use. Also, the fact that there one room with lots of enemies makes the game a bit more repetitive rather than being a challenge game.
Overall, being a parody of SuperHot (it seems you even make another one: SuperNot which I may check it out) and a 3d version of it, I like the concept of it. Keep it up!
